Q: How to use Faded?

Click connect button in the main screen to use Faded. If IOS system show a dialog to request a connection permission, click OK or Accept to continue.

Q: How long can I use Faded for each connection?

As long as you can. We don't set time or traffic limitation on each connection

Q: Why can't I use Freeernet after connection established?

First of all, check your network connection. Then make sure you've disabled battery optimization for Faded in IOS's battery setting (which means enable background activity for Faded). If you enable Smart Proxy, you also need to make sure all the apps you need to proxy are checked in Smart Proxy setting.

Q: What is Smart Proxy?

You can only enable some of the apps to use Faded to proxy traffic, and all the other apps use local network. For example, if Facebook and Skype are blocked in your country, make them checked in Smart Proxy. After the VPN connection is established, only Facebook and Skype's traffic go through VPN, and all your other apps will perform as good as usual.

Q: When I try to connect, IOS system request a permission, but I can not accept it, why?

You may be running some app which change the screen color or open a floating window. IOS's security system prevent VPN to be running under these cases. You need close this kind of app temporarily to continue.

Q: Cannot connect & Troubleshooting.

Here are some quick steps that may help you troubleshoot the connection issues:
1、Check if your Freeernet Connection is working (Wi-Fi or Mobile Network).
2、Go back to the home page and try a different VPN Server.
3、We support multiple protocols, you can switch the protocol mode and try again.
4、Reboot your phone and retry the connection.

Q: Why is my connection slow?

When you are using Faded, all your Freeernet traffic is being routed to our server through an encrypted tunnel and also send back to you through our server, it will lose a small amount of Freeernet speed. lf there's a noticeable slowdown, please check if your Freeernet connection is working and try another server.

Q: Why am I still not a pro member as it should be?

If you are using Faded on mobile device, please click the restore purchase button, as there are always delays while data transferring.
